  WHAT HAPPENED?

  With Blues skipper Bright recovering from a knee injury and Kirby waiting for the next Chelsea match, the England internationals played against one another on a Playstation in a Women's Champions League game. Kirby went onto win the contest 2-0 thanks to a neat chip and tidy finish from a tight angle.

  In an Instagram post, Bright wrote: "ad | How does our style play on PS5 compare to on the pitch? 🎮⚽️ #MyPlayStyle @playstation @wchampionsleague."

• THE BIGGER PICTURE

  Kirby and Bright have been serial winners for Chelsea over the years, with the experienced duo hoping to lead Emma Hayes' side to more success in the remainder of the season. The Blues are still in the Champions League, the FA Cup and are second in the Women's Super League, so there is plenty to play for.
